Last week we visited a London school to kick start our first TPM Youth Project of 2018!
Co-founder Steve Wallington visited LAE Tottenham to give a presentation where we asked students to enrol into a short course that will encourage them to use photography as a means of self-expression making often difficult or sensitive subjects easier to be out in the open.
The brief we have given them is ‘Inside Out’ and they will be guided over the months running up to April with both creative and technical workshops by incredible people who have both knowledge of mental health and photography.
The Future with TPM Youth Project
The winner will be featured at the Getty Images Gallery this year during our Calm Photography Movement Exhibition 2018 plus we will support an exhibition at the school itself.
We look forward to sharing more and are very excited to see this youth project evolve with so many keen students signing up to be part of it! It is key to us to work with young minds after looking at statistics showing how many of our youth struggle with modern day life. We so look forward to seeing how the LAE Tottenham students interpret and express themselves through photography!
