The Calm Photography Movement via JOE.co.uk who put together a powerful and moving video to discuss male mental health, opening up and using photography to bring us all together when they came to visit our gallery exhibition in May.
Founders Scott Shillum & Steve Wallington explain: “We have founded The Calm Photography Movement to raise awareness of the role that photography can play in shining a light on men’s mental health after losing close family and friends to suicide in the recent past. The aim of the movement is to raise awareness and funds for the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), an award winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide.”
We hope this video inspires you to be you and to use photography and to be your true self! Please contact CALM if you are facing difficulties or want to find out more info on who they are and what they do: https://www.thecalmzone.net/help/get-help/
